Draft. This page has not been reviewed yet and may change before GrammarDeck launches.
GrammarDeck is for people checking their own writing. These rules keep it fast, fair and affordable for everyone. They are part of our terms of service.
1. Use it for your own writing
Check text you wrote or are allowed to edit, for yourself or your work. Each account belongs to one person.
2. Please don't
- share your account or sell access to GrammarDeck;
- call our service from your own scripts, bots or software, or check text in bulk automatically;
- try to get around the daily limits, for example with many accounts;
- overload, attack, scan or disrupt the service, or try to get into other people's accounts;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer the apps, beyond what the law allows;
- use GrammarDeck to break the law, or to create spam, scams, harassment or content that harms children;
- send text you are not allowed to share with a third-party service, such as other people's confidential data.
3. The fair-use limit on Pro
Pro includes a high daily number of checks. It is set for one person writing a lot, every day. If an account reaches it, checks pause until the daily reset. We do not charge extra for reaching it.
4. What we do if the rules are broken
We may warn you, limit your account, or suspend or close it, depending on how serious it is. If we close a paid account without good reason, we refund the unused part. If you think we got it wrong, email support@grammardeck.com.
5. Reporting problems
Report abuse to support@grammardeck.com and security problems to security@grammardeck.com.
