Delete your account
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Draft. This page has not been reviewed yet and may change before GrammarDeck launches.
You can ask us to delete your GrammarDeck account and its data at any time. It is free and takes a few steps.
1. Cancel any subscription first
- Bought on this website: open the account page and click Cancel renewal.
- Bought in the App Store or Google Play: cancel it in your phone's subscription settings.
Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription by itself.
2. Ask us to delete it
Email privacy@grammardeck.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my GrammarDeck account”. We may ask you to confirm, so that nobody else can delete your account.
We delete the account within 30 days and email you when it is done.
3. What we delete
- Your account: email address, name and account ID
- Your plan and your daily check counts
- Your website sessions
- Analytics and crash reports linked to your account ID, as our providers allow
4. What we keep
- Purchase records (plan, price, dates, payment reference), for as long as Indian tax law requires, up to 8 years.
- Server logs, which do not contain your text and are deleted within 30 days anyway.
We never had your text to begin with: it is not stored after a check.
5. Sign out of the apps
After the account is deleted, sign out of GrammarDeck on your devices and uninstall the apps and keyboards if you no longer want them. See our privacy policy for your other rights.
